For all of us beautiful souls living a human experience...


Struggling mental health days are tough and surreal;
They hurt, they're heavy, and they make us feel.

Some days are blind-siding, and our minds play tricks;
We get confused, and feel hit by a ton of bricks.

Some days we worry, some days we cry;
Some days we search and dig deep for our why.

We're human beings, with a soul deep within;
Yet some days it feels that our egos always win.

We are strong, beautiful beings; here for a special reason;
Please keep this close to your heart when you are in a tough season. 

How can you help your hurting heart?
Nurture yourself with love; every part.

Speak love to yourself, and remember your worth;
State affirmations, nurture your relationships; and value your time on earth.

Embrace your body, thank it for keeping you alive;
Walk, exercise, dance; just get moving and thrive!

Process your thoughts, let them out;
For if you keep them inside, they turn to worry and doubt.

Release the ego, welcome the soul;
Gratitude, forgiveness, and becoming whole.

You are loved, special, and one of a kind;
So please remember this when you are caught up in your own mind.
